GMMer Courtney Kaup, shown here in the historic Olympic speed skating oval cum finisher’s chute for Ironman Lake Placid on July 26th, moments before her 6th place overall women’s finish. Barely a month after IMLP, Courtney traveled to Austria where she raced in the Ironman 70.3 World Championship on August 28th, only to skip back across the pond less than a month later for the ITU Cross World Championship in Sardegna, Italy, on September 26, where she won a silver medal for her 2nd AG 35-39 showing.
She completed her remarkable year with her first Ironman World Championship race in Kailua-Kona, HI on October 11.  Phew!
Congratulations, Courtney, on your world-class accomplishments in 2015.
